FAQ

Here are the questions that we get asked all the time. Don’t worry – we have the answers!
What is Short Term Rehab?2021-03-12T16:52:44+00:00

Short-term rehabilitation provides therapy for seniors recovering from surgery, illness, or accident. Generally, those needing short-term, in-patient rehabilitation may remain involved in their program at one of our facilities for as little as a couple of days to several weeks.

Short-term rehabilitation programs help senior patients achieve their maximum functional capacity and get back to their homes and community in the shortest time possible. To achieve this goal, patients receive physical, occupational, and speech therapy from our caring, highly skilled therapists. Therapists are part of a team that includes physicians, nurses, social workers, and nutritionists that work with patients and family members to develop an individualized care plan.

Currently, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not able to allow visitation in the facility per directions from Public Health, Center for Disease Control (CDC) and CMS. We are scheduling appointments for outdoor visitation for 15 minutes each visit. Visitors must answer some screening questions prior to the visit as well as have their temperature taken and recorded. Masks must be worn and social distancing of at least 6 feet must be maintained.
